We have an employee that uses FMLA every year for her child.
My question is within the twelve month period the employee does not use the allocated number of hours for the twelve month period. Once she reached the end of the twelve months she has time left over for which she loses. She gets an updated Certification for her daughter which drives the date to starts FMLA again. I have someone telling me that her remaining time rolls over into the next year. We do a twelve month look back. Do the new certification drive the date as to when her FMLA starts all over again.
